Running WCMS without Apache on Windows (IIS)

Post by jsw_nz »

i wanted to ask if any have encountered situations where they needed to install WCMS in a predominantly windows based enviorment.

The client prefers to run IIS on port 80, and does not want to run Apache on his in-house server.

What are the performance and configuration issues of PHP here....will WCMS be less robust. What tips can any suggest on the install of PHP in such a setting... Up to now all my experience in based on running on top of Apache, both in windows and linux environment.

Thanks in advance
links to general articles on this issue would be appreciatied as well.
