site sections : if not visible

If you link to an article in a sitesection that is not visible.
currenlty your nav menu is shown in a state without any active section.
What I would like is an option to select a 'cloak as' field in the site section admin, allowing you to select what section the menu will see articles in this invisable section as belonging to.
