I am needing to upload images to a sub folder in the /images directory so I can place more than 1 {random:image} on a given page with out a single image showing up two times.

I am needing to do this so I do not have to use a different ftp program to upload images.

not s osure if i understand you correctly but i think you are asking if you can upload images you a folder (using the file manager) for use with the {RANDOM} replacement tag.
sorry you can not, you mst use an ftp app for this, ther eare many free ftp apps available though.
