Integrating Macromedia Flash content

Perhaps these are newbie questions - if so please forgive. 
Has anyone tried integrating Flash content into either the articles, or the Navigation?
I'd like to embed Flash animations in the same way I can put jpegs into my articles, but I can't see how to do this. Can PHPWCMS generate the appropriate Flash Object&Embed code?
Also, it might be nice to use a Flash-based navigation menu. I have one which dynamically loads its items and submenu items from an external XML file. I'd like to be able to update this XML file (manually if necessary) with the link URLs generated by PHPWCMS when I insert a section or a page, but I don't know where to look to find the URLs.
