quick question about article capabilities

Hey, I'm relatively new to phpwcms, and I love it, by the way. not new to php, though, and i was wondering about the capabilities of the article, or maybe if there was an enhancement to do this --

I'm looking for something that would, perhaps, display an article's first 50 or 100 words and then have a link to "Read more..." to save content space on the main page so that they can go to another page to read the full article. This way, i can display more than one article efficiently on the main page.

Additionally, how could i do that and display a larger scale "feature image" on the newest article with more text revealed, and then the next 4 articles are smaller, almost thumbnail size with about 25 words with links to their respective entire articles.

I know this is somewhat of a picky question, but I was wondering if there is any way to get this to work with phpwcms? and if not, if anyone knows of another cms that would do it? and perhaps be compatible with phpwcms? thanks for taking the time to read this... and comprehend it.

Hi Eric,
phpwcms does something quite similar. Try to put more than one article into a site structure level. Fill out the summaries in the article headers! See what happens! Cool ey? ;)
