I agree... I haven't used phpWCMS yet strictly for this reason. I have clients that want to use a content management system, and this one seems like the best choice.

It seems odd, though, that users have access to this awsome WYSIWYG editor, but yet they can't click on an image to add it to the page they are editing... it would be nice if when they clicked the "Insert Image" icon that a dialog, either text or thumbnail, would come up that contained the folder list of the images they have uploaded... they could click on an image or image name, and that image would be inserted into the WYSIWYG editor!

I don't see how you can use the images that you've uploaded in the file manager. When I click on the image icon on the WYSIWG editor, I don't have the option to add any of the images I've uploaded.

Granted, I can post the URL to the image, but my users aren't going to know how to do that... is there a way to select the uploaded image and have it inserted?

hello

please take a look if you create an article, first you create the summary later you can choose the content part you wanna create and there you have the contentpart text with images then you get the possibility to choose an image. by clicking at the open folder symbol. also you can choose there the alignment of the image and the text.

Don't forget that you can customize directories for WYSIWYG

And don't forget you can customize the directories
(adding any number of them)
for the SPAW version of the WYSIWYG editor.
