I don't know how it works, but I saw that there is something in phpwcms to support an auction (bid). Wouldn't be possible to add a content part "buy" that could be added a cart? It could include at least the following:

• image
  price
  VAT (percentage)
  description

I guess something like that is planned - but it is not possible at the moment, sry.....

and never call it WCMS the name is phpwcms
