So what's the deal with commercial use....

suppose i'm asked to make a site for a company and i use phpWCMS for the job and obey the rules provided by the GNU, is this allowed??

And what about asking money for a installaion of phpWCMS... i'm sure this topic has to covered somewhere... but can only find the protection of the open source standard.

This is allowed. You are selling your skills - not phpwcms.

Hallo Oliver, aber ich möchte gerne auch was "spenden" wenn ist möglich.
Habe grade erste Projekte mit phpwcms gemacht und erfolgreich beendent.
Kunde war super begeistert , von Design aber auch sehr von dein CMS.
Daswegen finde ich fair auch deine Leistung zu werten mit kleine "spende".
Projekt hat nicht sehr grosses Geld mitgebracht aber "klein mist mach auch haufen" oder wie Ihr sagt hier
Bitte hinterlasse mir in PM dein Konto usw, so kann ich mind. etwas beibringen für dein verdienst.

Nochmals vielen Dank für deine Arbeit und wenns weiter so gut geht mit Kompilation dein phpwcms und mein restliche Arbeit werde ich pro Projekt immer kleiner spende machen.
