I am using netfirms for my hosting company, downloaded the latest zip file, installed it in the public_html folder, set the permissions right, cretaed the database, everything was so easy.
then I downloaded the created conf.inc.php file as I was told and put it in to the config/phpwcms/ folder

After all that i went to mydomain.com/login.php and I got the login page I was so happy:)

But when I tried login in NOTHING HAPPEND, not even an error, it looks like it does logs me in but sends me back to the login page again. Because when I tried wrong username or password it does gives me an error. i went and check the database login details phpMyAdmin anyways, and they were correct.

I tried to be very clear aboit it I hope someone can give me an idea, thanks

Cookies and javascript and sessions are on/allowed?

Thank you for the quick reply but I already mention that it is the latest version I am using.... Anyways...

I have resolved the issue you had in logging in . I have noticed the that PHP session path was not set-up properly for your account which was causing the issue. I have set the PHP session path for your account. Now you should be able to login without any issues. Could you please try logging in from your end?

Now I can login as admin, but few quick questions;

1- When I goto mydomain.com page can not be display, nothing there is this normal until I upload things to my site?

2- Is there any free phpwcms templates to play around with?
