Re designs of sites?

Post by photoads »

Just wondering if all sites that use this script are going to look and feel exactly the same?

As I have only just started to look into using it, it seems that we will all have the same side navigation in the same position of the page?

Please advise if I am missing something?

I also can't under stand ;-)

You can put this navigation wherever you want - it also can be smaller autosized and so on.

There is a basic layout for PHPWCMS, but within the template, it's completely customizable. Change the colors. Change the fonts. Change the location. Change the images and rollovers. There are a lot of easy things to do that can make each site look unique.

Having said that, I would like to figure out how to better customize the layout of the standard menu. I'm planning on playing with that soon.

I also plan to create new menu types - but I have no time at the moment.

Where we can find information related to that subject?

Great, but How? How can I put the navigation ina different way? Is there any example or documentation that I can read?

Any information or tips, will be appreciated

have a look into config.template_default.inc.php. There you can find some predefined vars which does what you need.
