Shortcut to one article on several pages

Hi,
it would be nice if you could implement a feature for building for every article a preview with a small thumbnailpicture which can be copied to wherever you want.
At the moment i playing arround with the cms and found only the possibility to create a article where i inserted several article-links or a article-list.
maybe this feature allready exists but i dont know about it. if so pls tell me how it works.
a second request: could you implement the feature "copy & paste" like "cut" in the site structure and article list.
thanks and best regards
Uwe

hello uwe
the article preview with thumbnailpicture exist since the realease from 03.06.2004. but not with the feature that you can place this where ever you want. what you can do is work with the {RELATED:xx} TAG so you can create at every contentpart an article listing controlled by keywords. also you have the contentpart article listing.
info for the article preview you find here.

the copy paste function will come! as far as i know. but when i don't know.
{RELATED:xx} is not working

hi,
i used the {RELATED} tag. but it doesn't work.
i entered the keyword "GEITHAIN" in my article and wrote the tag
{RELATED:10:GEITHAIN}
in my template in the mainframe.
Nothing shows up on my website.
what went wrong?

hello pappnase,
yes i did.
But what i just found out is, that this article shows up on the website on every page in the sitestructure which is using this template but not on one special page.
if you go to this link you will see what i mean
http://web2.h7244.serverkompetenz.net/c ... t_geithain
on every page below Stadt Geithain it shows up but not on Stadt Geithain itself. But they are using the same template. also when i change the page of "Sachsen" to this yelllow template it works fine there.
i also switched the template from Stadt Geithain because i thought its only a problem of updating. but this did not help ether.

The reason that a link does not show up there is because THAT link...
is the one you are RELATING TO... is it not?
Why have a link to that article itself WITHIN ITSELF? Or maybe you lost me
now it works but...

hello Uwe
when you edit / create an site structure you have the field top count.
5 articles mean 5 summarys.
here is the setting for th summary.
http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2238#13874
and one more link for article summary templates.
http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1788
it works with {CONTENT} but not with {RELATED...}

hello Pappnase,
i allready use the sample.tmpl but i think this works only with the {CONTENT} - Tag but not with {RELATED}.
I have changed my {RELATED} to {CONTENT} -Tag. Now i can see the summary of the articles on the same structure-level where the articels are placed into. But i need such a view also on other structure-levels.
Thats why i use the {RELATED} Tag. but only one Link is shown and not the summary with Header,Picture,Text and More-Link.
is there somewhere a solution?

pappnase,
if it set it to 4 then i will see 4 articles which are based in the same site-level but only with the content-tag.
i need a summary like in the content-tag from several site-levels on several pages. as example.
the page of a Town has a startpage. there all entered articles should be shown. then there is a tourismus categorie below where a article about a swimmbad should be shown and also about historical buildings etc. but this articles are saved in a deeper level below in a categorie like recreation and history in extra-folders. i don't like to copie the article to each level because it is at the moment not possible that easy and it wastes discspace.
so i thought the related-tag is a good solution but then i saw that no summary is shown.
do you have a better idea?

Pappnase,
