Why not dump the existing html editors and use this one instead, it's great!

No, I suggested to get rid of the other ones This one is better than the other ones. Expecially the version with all features on is great. Very easy to edit details of new and existing content, for example pictures and links.Pappnase wrote:hello
i looks nice! but i really need to say how many editors should oliver include. now we have 4 did we really need a 5th!? sorry! but i think it will blast the size of wcms but is 4 editors really needed!?
I do not see what make this one better? You still need IE5,5+ and it do not have functions that spaw/FCKeditor didn´t have....

Well, personally I get errors when using FCKeditor, and Spaw is just plan awkward to use. Heavy to load and it is not user friendly. For example when creating a link you cannot give it a target. And when you want to edit the properties of a link or an image, you have to go to the HTML code and do it manually.frold wrote:I do not see what make this one better? There ~appears~ to be a patch for this. I have not checked it out, though:argos wrote:frold wrote:For example when creating a link you cannot give it a target.

Yes I would be happy to integrate only 1 WYSIWYG editor. At the moment I prefer the use of HTMLarea - seems to be the best working. The new Beta of FCKeditor looks great - but seems to be a very eraly beta - so I will not update FCKeditor until it is finished.
I'm thinking about removing SPAW - it has too many problems.
