don't know why but I really don't like the second design...

the one of the first page is acceptable specially the menu is styled a little different... ( would change the a_nav_table_active font color to white )

the problem with site2: same back in main as in page.... looks like a hole in the page...

First one: the background of the page is really bad... the colors really make no sense compared to the rest of the site... also the idea of the color gradient is a bit to much, i would keep it constant blue as in the top of the page since it fits with the top, then the color of the bottom has to change too.

Second: i suppose you didn't choose the "orange color" after last night (sorry had to say this ), but overall i look at websites as tools for marketing, this way i just look at it one time and imagine for what purpose the site was... the first thing that came up was movies or something, but i think that isn't the target of the site. I would also change the background and close the gaps between the navigation buttons because the stripes and the arrowd combined with black, yellow white and orange really don't mix, also the alignment of the head of the article is a bit strange compared to the nav buttons.

I'm just a critic cause i like to help you... don't shoot the messenger!
