Is there a way, hack or mod that will allow me to display random bites of text.

Here is what I am doing, I have a testimonials page, and I want to be able to take one tesimonial at a time, and display in specific area on the site, each time the page loads a new comment load in that area, then they can click on that to take them to the full page/article testimonial page.

you could search hotscripts or some simmler site for a 'Random Quotes' script. (GPL prefferably)

Yes that is what I have done in the interm. But with it being so basic a script, it could be something put into phpwcms.
