error when uploading files

Hi all,

just installed the most recent version of phpwcms 1.1 RC1
on Apache/2.0.47 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.0.47 OpenSSL/0.9.7b PHP/4.3.3RC2-dev (this is the apachefriends distribution for Windows)

When trying to upload files in the file center I got the following error:

Please do not try again - this is an server error! Contact the webmaster to tell as soon as possible!

Any hint how to solve this ?
