http://www.phpwcms-howto.de/wiki/doku.p ... slideshow2

Hi!

How can I link each image with specific articles, using images <div> CP, with template slideshow2_simple_default.tmpl ?

In "caption:" field I enter text like this:
Article name|Article alt|?article_url

In Frontend, when clicked on picture instead link to article, I got "full size" picture (marked "click enlarge" in BE).
Caption in Images slideshow is ok - only my text "Article name" is shown.

When "click enlarge" is not marked, then link is correct (www.example.com/?article_url), but caption is not OK. In this case, caption is "Article name|Article alt|?article_url", but it should be only "Article name".

My version is V1.4.7, mootols working :)

Any help?

Hi Knut!

I have been trying to modify template file according to my needs,
Article name|Article alt|?article_url
so it can display image name as Article name, and picture link to be link from caption.
I didn't succeed in this.

Seems that some of {IMAGE*} RT's not working if used in template file.
I'm trying with modifying this line:
[CP_TRIG_STR] <a {CP_TRIG_REL_LIGHBOX} href="{ALT}"><img id="slide-{CP_TRIG_CLASS_ID}" src="{IMAGE_REL}" width="{IMAGE_WIDTH}" height="{IMAGE_HEIGHT}" alt="[CAPTION]{CAPTION}[/CAPTION][CAPTION_ELSE]{IMGNAME}[/CAPTION_ELSE]" style="{CP_TRIG_WIDTH_HEIGHT} {CP_TRIG_LEFT_TOP}" /></a>[/CP_TRIG_STR]

Still I didn't manage to get what I want.
Maybe I'm not at correct path for problem solving?

Should it not be (correct):

Article name|Article alt|index.php?alias

Hi Pepe!

I tried as you instructed, but no luck.
When Article name|Article alt|index.php?alias is used as image caption, and click enlarge is not selected, then I have same problem described above (link on picture is correct index.php?alias, but image alias is whole description field "Article name|Article alt|index.php?alias").

Did you try to change "alias" into the respective alias?

Hi Claus!

I'm not sure how to set respective alias...
Can you give me an example, please?

One page has an alias index.php?"my-good-page", the other is aliased index.php?"my-other-good-page" and so on. Every page has it's own alias.... but you know.
I was just wondering if you plain wrote "index.php?alias" where "alias" seems to be a place holder only... or am I completely wrong?

Claus,
hm, I tried this variants:

1)
Article name|Article alt|?my_article_alias

2)
Article name|Article alt|index.php?my_article_alias

Is this what you are asking?
