Hello,

When i want to click @ "Browse File" @ the Multiple File upload section, nothing happens. The Button doesn't seem to work.

Does someone got an explanation for this?

Thx .

Hi,
That's because the latests version (v 10.x) of Flash-Plugin is incompatible with this function. :(
The only way to solve this problem is a downgrade to a earlier version (v 9.x) of your Flash-Plugin...

Hey! Thanks Heiko :)
I was having the same issue.
Reverting to Flash (v 9.x), solved this for me. 8)

The Flash 10 plugin is a piece of garbage. If you Google it, you'll find that it broke features in Joomla, WordPress, Drupal and now PHPWCMS.

I'm sure that Flash designers love it, but it delivered nothing of value to most people and screwed things up for lots of people. Adobe should be ashamed of themselves for forcing this 'improvement' down everyone's throats without checking that it might cause problems.

I agree with design, the multiple file upload feature of PHPWCMS is one of the BEST features I have seen in a long time. I hope that Oliver is able to devise a patch-file fix, as I certainly cannot tell customers to downgrade their Flash plugin.

Losing this feature for good would be a sad loss indeed.

I don't suppose anyone has found a way of getting this feature to work with Flash 10 plugin yet?

Also, does anyone know if it is even possible to fix? (I mean is it worth me trying to hack the code myself). It's just that a client of mine asked me if it was broke for good and I'm not sure what to tell them. :(

it will be updated very soon to ensure compatibility again. MooTools 1.2+ is needed and that is why I have to check the whole javascript in backend. It will be switched to newest version of FancyUpload.

Hi,

I use for this "problem" the Firefox-Addon "Flash Switcher"... because some pages need v10, phpwcms need v9.
You will find it here
It works perfect for me

Hello!
I can't ask to my client to downgrade to v. 9. And unfortunately the newest Firefox version doesn't support the addon "Flash Switcher".
So I used this Flash clip... but it's not free.

I inserted it in the back-end page "multiple file upload" and works perfectly!
