Hi there folks,

Besides the fact that is absolute THE most powerfull CMS in the world developed by just ONE MAN I really would like to see a better upgrade feature.

I.e. Only the changed files including a script to upgrade to the next version.

Yesterday I f*cked up my complete website, ok ok it was nothing yet but wat if it was.... ;) Nevertheless, please consider this.

Cheers 'Drubus Culubus'

phpwcms ALREADY has the very best upgrade feature available to moder technology... thwe word BACKUP written everywhere. it's simple and without doubt the most reliable system around too ;)

all that a side you could backup ;) oops sorry for that, it just slipped out.

but seriously, you could backup. Arrgggg somebody stop me. im ust go now before i offend anyone (again).

but a ChangeList of files within thew ChangeLog would be nice if not to time consuming.

I guess we all liked a feature in the backend called (update) that automaticly detects if there is any update and if so it install it...and after a logout and re-login you are running the neweste version.. I guess Im dreaming

Hi Guys,

what I meant was:

An upgrade.zip besides the fullpackage.zip. In the upgrade.zip only the changed files including the upgrade.php file to upgrade the database.

What's so hard about that. Forgive me for my stupidity, but it was only a request/suggestion.

Nevertheless, PHPWCMS is great! :D

we knew what you meant ;)
but we like to state the obvious just to give ourselves a little fun until the real answers come along :D

as i said in my post..
but a ChangeList of files within thew ChangeLog would be nice if not to time consuming.
easier for those who are in a possion to create it and just as easy for us to administer.
