How to upgrade

I believe a problem could be solved if I upgrade to newest version, but there's no how-to-guide to upgrade.

Can someone tell me how I do it and please be specefic, cause I'm new to phpwcms.

I followed the guide completely and now I stand with a homepage totally destroyed.....

It worked like shit and the guides are just like shit.
Sorry, but I have worked on my hp for over 6 month and now I can start all over again!

I hope to see better guides from the guys doing this job, cause in my eyes it really stinks! (sorry guys)

I can't even login to my admin interface anymore, so thats just great.

So then it is time to push back the backup and redo all steps. And ..hm .. just think about b4 throwing mud on tutorials.. ok ?
