This is rather a question of the philosophy. Nothing more... (was more a joke, than any thing else)
Use what do you want, except M$ Windows (for that... means Webserver)

unlike DF6IH and you, I'm no server setup pro but addicted to my web provider who hopefully get to know and acts on this problems with debian

If I wouldn't have a productive machine with now the super duber neweset debian .. would have kicked this system to dessert. By the way .. same procedure with vulerable keys in Ubuntu as well...
