ExData error - "No input file specified."

I have used ExData before on a few sites with no problem, but this time I get an error. I can ADD entries to a category, but if I try to edit or delete an entry I get the following error - No input file specified.

It's caused by mod_rewrite.
ExData and mod-rewrite do not work properly together.
