I agree with you all and I guess I'm not the only one to see that Oli has done a great job but also seems to be a sort of difficult kind of person. But, hey don't we all have our own ways? Still being kind of new to this community I have to say that this whole situation reminds me to a family having a good time in the living room until big dad walks in and all chatter dies.
I've tried a few CMSs but nothing I tried can compete with Olis works in many ways. What I read in his lines was a little resignation - not so much regarding the further development of phpwcms but rather because of the pressure of our expectations which he seems to be fully aware of even if we haven't actively pressured him lately, not much anyway. On the other hand he himself added to that pressure last year.
I just dearly hope that he will give us timely notice once he's decides to quit workig on phpwcms, also wishing that there would be others in this case taking over.
His criticism about the supposedly poor documentation however is not qualified to keep up a good spirit.

Frist to all, sorry but i need this to write in german 
Maybe somebody can / will translate it.
Das ich nun ein paar monate weg war hatte nix mit dem zu tun was zwischen mir und oli vorgefallen war. Ich werde mich dazu auch nicht großartig äußern aussder das da leider auf einen moment verschiedene dinge auf einen sehr ungünstigen punkt gekommen sind.
Ausserdem hatte ich private probleme, die ich erstmal regeln musste. Und nun habe ich somit auch wieder selbst einen festen job.
Zum anderen muss ich sagen das ich irgednwie die community vermisse wie sie früher war, als beispiel, es wurden keine unterschiede zwischen kommerziellen und privaten projekten gemacht. Ok mich hat es auch schonmal geärgert, wenn man jemanden geholfen hat 3 stunden probiert hat ein problem zu lösen und dann kamen 5 euro per paypal. Aber so ist das leben.
Ich denke es ist falsch bei anfragen im forum mit einer euro nachfrage zu antworten. denn wenn das schule macht wird hier keine mehr fragen "ich habe einen kunden der möchte das ..." sondern " ich habe eine seite und probiere folgendes zu lösen". sprich es wird gelogen das die balken biegen. wenn es um scriptanpassungen geht oder erweiterungen, dann könnte man über euros reden.
Dann kommt noch dazu das man zusammen an einemen an einem Strang gezogen und zusammen etwas auf die Beine gestellt haben. Ich mache nie ein Hehl daraus das ich einige defizite habe was css / php angeht . Und bin leider auf die Hilfe anderer angewiesen. Immer wieder wird über den Inhalt der Docu gemotzt, ob hier oder per mail. Aber jede Anfrage um Unterstützung verhallt in schall und rauch.
Dazu muss ich auch sagen das mir das wiki etwas im Magen liegt. Es gibt die docu und die faq's und nun kommt auch noch ein wiki. Das experiment wiki hatten wir schon 2 mal und was war nix. Warum ich so schreibe, ganz einfach. Den letzten stand der dinge die ich hatte war, das Flip-Flop auch alleine daran sitzt. Er ist nunmal ( aus meiner sicht ) einer der fähigsten CSS köpfe hier
. Was nur schade daran ist das er jetzt lieber das wiki pflegt wie an der docu mit zu helfen, was man ja auch verstehen kann / muss. Das sage ich ganz offen und ehrlich. Auch wenn es sich vielleicht nicht so gut anhört.
Ich sehe das mit dem Wiki auch noch so ... Die leute verrennen sich im moment. Das sehe ich daran das sie das Forum nicht finden stattdessen schreiben sie fragen in die FAQ'S oder an mich als mail. Wo bleibt die Usability wenn die User bis zu 5 Seiten haben wo Sie Informationen / Hilfe zum System bekommen, ich befürchte auf der Strecke.
Es ist jan icht so das ich nur nehmen will. Sondern habe auch kein Problem zu geben. Eine idee die ich z.b. habe ist eine Teilkommerzialisierung, d.h. das z.b. jemand eine Anleitung für Vorlagen udn Templates oder nav_list_ul schreibt. Und darunter gerne steht das eine individuelle Anpassung mögliche sei für summe X. Wobei ich denke weniger ist mehr, spich das man probiert die Masse probiert anzusprechen. Damit meine ich das eine Summe von 20 € nicht überschritten werden sollte. Ich denke das so eine Summe auch von einem Privatanwender aufgebracht werden würde, wenn es z.b. ums anpassen einer css navi gehen würde. Das geht natürlich nur bei nicht Komplexeren dingen. Alles andere muss mit dem jeweiligen ausgehandelt werden. Und ich gebe zu etwas würde ich davon auch haben wollen, sprich eine art vermittlungsgebühr ... , wie aber schon gesagt ist das nur eine Idee von mir.
Alle anderen die etwas zur Docu in schriftlicher Form beitragen, egal ob es eine neue Beschreibung ist oder eine Übersetztung. Den kann ich halt nur anbieten das Sie Werbung auf der Docu schalten können.
Zu guter letzt möchte ich mich noch bei denen entschuldigen die ich menschlich bzw. persönlich enttäuscht bzw. hängen gelassen habe. Da wo es möglich ist werde ich probieren das gut zu machen.

Since the previoust post might also be interesting to the english-speaking part of the community, I will translate it. Even though this might not be seen as a correct word-by-word translation, you'll still get the message.

That I was away for a couple of months, has nothing to do with what happened between me and Oli. I don't really want to talk about that situation, I only want to mention that different things sadly came to an unfavourable point all at once.
Besides I had private problems, that I first wanted to take care of. And now I have again a job.
On the other hand I have to say that I somehow miss the community how it was in earlier times, e.g. there were no differences made between commercial and private projects. Ok, it bothered me too, if you helped someone to find a solution for a problem for three hours only to get 5 euros via paypal. But that's life. I think it is wrong to answer a request in the forum by a question on the payment. Because if that happens, noone will ever again ask "I would like to realize something for a customer..." but only "I myself have a site und try to get a solution for...". Meaning that everybody will lie. If it is for script changes or extentions, than you could talk about money.
Than there is the part where we were one and got something realized together. I've never hidden my lack of css & php skills. And sadly I'm depending on the help of others. Again and again people complain about the content of the docu either here or via mail. But asking someone for a favour gets always declined.
Than I have to say that I'm concerned about the wiki. There is the docu and the faqs and now there also wants to be a wiki. We already had that experiments two times before and nothing got out of it. Why I'm writing about that? Simply that: The last thing I heared about it was that flip-flop was also doing it all by himself. He is imho one the most capable CSS heads here. But I think it is sad that he rather chooses to work on the wiki than to support the docu, what you can / must understand. I'm telling you that absolutely open and honestly. Even if that might not really sound good.
I'm also looking at wiki that way that people don't know where to turn to. I noticed that because they don't find the forum but instead are writing there questions into the FAQs or to me via mail. Where is the usability when the users have up to five different site where they can get the information /help to a system - I think it will get lost.
It is not that I only want to get something out of here. It is no problem to invest or help others. One of the ideas I have is e.g. to partially commercialize, meaning that for example someone writes a documentation on 'How to create a template' or the nav_list_ul. And below that you could place an offer for custom changes for a total of sum x. But I think less is more, meaning that you want to get the interest of more people by making it affordable (not exceeding 20 €). By doing so even private customers would think about getting the css navi done. Of course this doesn't apply to complex things. All other things has to be negotiated. And I admit that I also would like to get a provision ... but as I already said, this is only an idea.
Everyone else that want to contribute something to the docu in written form, doesn't matter if it is a new description or an translation, I can only offer to let them advertise on docu.
At last I would like to apoligize to all those who I disappointed. Wherever possible I will try to fix the broken.
