I made sure "Notify me when a rely is posted" is checked under the "Options" section.

...AND...

Under my profile, I selected "Yes" to the question: "Always notify me of replies: Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post."

...AND...

My email address is entered correctly!

What else can I do to be notified of replies to my messages?

sometimes there can be some minutes of delay

Or maybe your email provider collect the mails in the spam folder?

I didn't even think of the spam thing... I changed my settings and will start checking that to see if that helps.

Yes, it was being sent to my SPAM folder by hotmail's SPAM filters. It is now taken care of.
