login.php problems

Dear friends,
I had tried to install phpscms. The installtion was ok. no problems. at the last page of setup it asked to copy conf.inc.php to /include/inc_conf. i did so . but in the same page when i try to click on login . it gives me following error
Fatal error: Failed to initialize session module in /var/www/html/phpwcms/login.php on line 24 . And ..

the index.php gives clean nothing .. and website/login.php gives me the above error.

how do i proceed ..

hey the answer got ..


in the php.ini file ..the session handler was written for users. i changed to files.. it got worked.
