Hello folks.

I am a newbie who had requested assistance with the fundamental setting up of a front page for a website I'm (slowly) developing (Path Forger - yes there is very little in the way of content and more than half of it is dummy data).

I have however noticed that there is a newer version out and may be interesting in following through with the upgrade because I stand to lose little in the form of content, because I have frankly not yet gotten used to the feel of 1.1 RC4.0 and because new versions tend to mean greater user-friendliness and more powerful features. ^_~

Can anybody kindly tell me if I am correct on any of these counts? Also is it possible to make backups of templates with v 1.1?

But, Why dont you copy and paste all you code and setting in to an txt file.
Update phpwcms. And copy paste everything back.

I may very well try that but shall check around for easier ways to back up and reinstate the data in that scenario. Thanks for the reply though :c)

coming to think of it, a back up system would be nice for the phpwcms core.
Something like easy import and export of backup files.
