Hi friends,
until now there are
4851 registered users here in this forum.
Until now approx.
30 users have done a pledge at fundable.org for a quicker development of the usermanagement and blog.
NOW WE CAN DEMONSTRATE THAT THIS IS A REAL COMMUNITY!!!
BUT WE NEED MORE (FINANCIAL) HELP!!
So if you haven't done yet, please make also a pledge:
http://www.fundable.org/groupactions/phpwcms-may-2007
Time is short, we only have time until the deadline:
06/06/2007 11:59 PM EST
You do not have to pledge a big sum, pledges already start at 10 USD...
Thanks for your attention.

Come on. What kind of community is the one based on money???
I am still interested in PHPWCMS, but not working professionally with it anymore, mainly because of the lack of a real community. I really appreciate Oliver's job, but can see the point of this new vector of action...
1. If I am not wrong he is not giving a deadline. Some of the features now under the fundraising campaing were promised months (if not years) ago... Once received the money when are these commitments to be ready for the public??
2. And the big concern...: what would happen if the 6000 are not reached... PHPWCMS dead for another couple of years??? o forever...
Good luck anyway...

As far as I'm concerned, my small pledge already made through my hosting company is purely for the need that has been expressed by Oliver, and I felt my duty to respond. Purely from the point of view that phpwcms through the years has given me immense satisfaction. I use phpwcms on only two of our network sites.
If that's what the developer wants, and all of us have enjoyed using this product, why not? Good luck to Oliver.

Hi,
2. And the big concern...: what would happen if the 6000 are not reached...
So then I will send my money pledge even in this case - as a little pay back and a thank you for what I've got until now

$2830 secured + €950!
Double-wow!
The pledge will be reached, no question....
Seems to be so
And
If I am not wrong he is not giving a deadline.
not completely untrue, but
...und hält mir den Rücken einige Wochen frei = keeps my back free from money stress to to what has to be done right now
And
...were promised months (if not years) ago...
seemed to be meant deeply true but life's always stirring up the water and destoing a lot of man's good will...
JAWOLL!

We guys and girls should come to an end
Everytime Oliver has new counts they are outdated
Seems like this is on the way to 5000 ... just gave it a customer ~$350 speedup push ..
Don't wait or hesitate, we can not complain about any speed being turtles ourself
Perhaps tomorrow is the last chance to be part of the party
This community is one of the best and most productive ones i have ever seen in this media at all. And I started with 300 baud Internet/BTX here in Germany in the ending 80's.
Respect to all donators out there

Come on, Boys and Girls!!
Are we running short of breath???
That would be a pity!!
We only have to pledge for around $800 and then we would succeed...
******************************************************
Hi zusammen,
was ist plötzlich los?

FELIX

Hast Du denn schon was beigetragen?

Also ran an die Bouletten!
OOOPS!

.
Vielleicht sollte man ein HowTo schreiben?

There are different kinds of money streams handled differently by paypal.
A special one is the cooperation with fundable: There you can (only) pay with credit cards and your agreement with paypal to let them withdraw sposored amounts of money doesn't work until you will have charged your paypal account with at least this intended sponsoring money where it can be pulled off in case the sponsoring action steps into reality.
Not really a howto but a little explanation why this annoying plastic card window pops up every time you hint the
"I-want-to-participate-in-funding-the-work-on-phpwcms-to-get-this-whole-stuff -some-huge-steps-further-as-soon-as-possible" button
