Is there any way to create a newsletter with attachments like .zip or .pdf?

yep, I've decided to stay with "click to download" option for reasons you mentioned.

AFAIK no -
and this way will produce a lot of Traffic and some Spam-Filters will rwmove the Mails - so insert a Download-Link into your Newsletter and the Recipe can download it if he want it.
Think also that same Recipes don't like 'Big' Mail's - I'm too when I'm mobile

I have code to do so - but this will be implemented only when it is paid.
