My Boss has just asked if we could use the cms in a static page

now i had a think about this and i wondered if this would work.

the news section they want will be embedded in their page but using an <iframe>

the iframe will link to an area where the cms is located for the news section

the main reason is they dont really want the full site cms yet just the news

so question is would this work or am i very lost dog barking at the wrong tree?

yes is possible. There is no problem to mix static html pages and phpwcms.

It's just a question of linking. and template.

I don't know how many static pages there are - based on this it might be easier to integrate every page using cms.
