One a site I manage, I have a user who is unable to access the file area of the back end. Whenever he tries he gets this error message:

Error 500 - Internal server error

An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.

I also get the same message when I try and access his public files.
This is only happening for this user.

Has anyone got any idea what might be causing the problem and how I could fix it.

I am having the same problem. Any luck fixing this or does anyone know how to fix this?

seems thumbnail creation of an image fails. So check if there are images which are too big. Try hiding thumbnails by clicking the small icon in top right of file list.
