Hi...
I'm running phpwcms under my own server (apache 2.04 - php 4.3.4)
I have a little problem with the email form:
I cannot recive email! Everything is filled out correctly and the email address is correct and working, anyway I get success from phpwcms but no email was recived...
I have download the latest act_formmailer.php
Can anybody help?
I have read about setting up global vars=On...but I need to know where...sorry I'm new to this stuff...

I have noticed that not only it doesn't send email form, but it does'nt send every kind of email notification, like also the new user notification email...
Anybody knows what is it?
Maybe a server-side configuration???

What you mean exactly with "other script"?
Other script pf phpwcms?
Yes everything works correctly in phpwcms scripts, only what is connected with email doesn't works.

hello

did you search the forum for formailer or something! there are a few problems with the formmailer script you need to change a code line.

wich version did you use.

also i would say wait a few days cos the new release would have a changed formmailer.

I have changed the line in the act_fotmmailer.php anyway it doesn't works.
I think there are some problems with something else because I cannot recive any kind of emails from phpwcms scripts. As i said even the new user account email doesn't works...
I have read about the global vars= On but I don't know where to change it...
I don't know what else can be...maybe some apache configurations?

I'm using sendmail, does phpwcms works good with it?
Maybe I miss some configurations for sendmail?

I'm having the same problem on a Mac server running Tenon.

I've installed the latest version of phpwcms, and the new act_formmail that was on this forum. But still haven't been able to receive any emails.

Any ideas?

The problem for me was connected with a wrong configuration of sendmail.
I have reviewed the configuration and now everything works right.

If you use sendmail I can send you my sendmail.cf so you can look at it.
