Graphical Frontend Generator for NAV_LIST_UL??

Hi OG, hi all,
as everybody can read many people recommend the new NAV_LIST_UL for creating horizontal or vertical navigation.
My question to OG is: Is it possible to create a graphical frontend generator
with a preview function to simplify the creation of navigations and include that generator into the backend?
A good generator example is the one from Teaser_Ex...
