blank page on the start

I've installed phpcwms on my php host (tophost.it)

I've completed succesfully the semi-automatic installation, I've copied and renamed the conf.inf.php file and I've deleted the setup directory..

I try to go on my domain (phpcwms is under the dir /phpcwms) but the result I can see is a blank page... why????????

it's not a problem of permission because everything is set on 755

hi lupos,

seems all ok, now you have first setup a layout, a template and fill then articles into the structure levels.

sarch here for templates, free templates, then you get closer with setup a site.

also usefull for start is http://www.phpwcms-docu.de, then english section.

what? I've downloaded template wizard from :

http://www.kmedv.at/wcms/index.php?tw_download

but it doesn't work

I've downloaded and puted two template in the ./templates directory (I've created it), but doesn't work...always blank page!

Why phpwcms doesn't have any default template after instal?

Hi Lupos,

concerning the missing of templates you have to ask the developer Oliver Georgi.

But it seems that he will include one or more example templates in one of the next releases...

Hi Lupos,

this is the wrong forum section for erich_k4's template wizard, because it is a hack/enhancement and not included in the core code of phpwcms...

Hi lupos,

please have a look: http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=77047#77047
In my eys it isn´t a good idea to start using a template wizard. You must learn a little bit about the system.

Ok blank page isn't a problem... BUT:

- Where I've to put template?
- How can I activate them?
- I CAN'T LOGIN TO ADMIN BACKEND BECAUSE I'VE NO TEMPLATE

Have a look to the basic template function of these CMS: http://www.phpwcms.de/index.php?id=14,0,0,1,0,0
- How can I activate them?
At your site structure. For every structure level you can create your own template, if you want.
- I CAN'T LOGIN TO ADMIN BACKEND BECAUSE I'VE NO TEMPLATE
Oh no, please login to your backend http://example.com/login.php

I think yout installation isn´t running well.

After the installation you have copied the file /setup/setup.conf.inc.php to /config/phpwcms/conf.inc.php ?
All permissions for files and folders are right? http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/installation_en.phtml

yes I've put everythings on 777 permission, I don't know what could I've done, but now I've reinstalled from the beginning, and now it work well...

I thonk I've put wrong phpWcms on step 3 in installation...
Because for better view in my webserver I've put in a directory (/phpWcms), but I've skip this form field leaving it empty....maybe...

Thanks for everythings
