Hello all:
I just updated my web site from 1.1RC4 -> 1.2.8. For some reason pdf files won't open in Firefox, either inline or w external Reader application (no error message - just a blank page!).
Any suggestion?
Seb
phpWCMS 1.2.8 & Firefox 2 : Download issue
Hi Sebby,
have you tried to change the setting to
$phpwcms['inline_download'] = 0
in the config/phpwcms/conf.inc.php file?
Seems, that the Firefox 2 will not work properly with inline pdf.
It worked for me..
Further explanations:

or

Dear all-
The inline config did not do it. Apparently this bug was fixed by Olivier and a new 'download.php' should be released soon:

Happened to me with IE too...
Client called to complain, said: it's working fine here, checked on IE, ok, FF, ok, so I checked also on a mac, same thing, worked fine, so I didn't get it, went there, all seemed ok from my point of view, didn't get why it wasn't working. Came back at the office: didn,'t work ... DOH, so, thx for the tip sebby... but the solution is not optimal it is... "will be fixed in coming release".
Bah, will go manually with pdf then, good ole manual school is getting the web back apparently...
Cheers
