Hello,

I know that it is a silly aquestion , but I haven't found the answer.

I'm making a fresh install of the 1.2.8 relase and then I would like to install patchG.

Once the 1.2.8 relase is installed what should I do to install the patch? (Where should I copy the patch files? Then what to do to install them?)

Hi Andras,

have you opened the zip file containig path-G?
Open next the folder: /20060906_phpwcms_1.2.8_patchG/
This is corresponding to the root folder of your installation.
Copy all files from patch-G into the corresponding folder of your installation.

Thats all. The patch is installed.

Thank you for your quick reply!

Do you mean to copy one by one (using the FTP client) all the files contained in the subfolders of the "include" folder of patchG, simply overwriting the previously installed files, and then doing nothing else?

Yes indeed, thats all.

A patch isn´t an update. More often than not only some files are substituted.
