Incorrect server path or attributes?

Post by memberjoe »

My error message is:

Code: Select all

Warning: main(C:\\Inetpub\\wwwroot\\ujszasz.hu\\wwwroot/include/inc_lib/dbcon.inc.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ujszasz.hu\wwwroot\phpwcms\index.php on line 57

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\\Inetpub\\wwwroot\\ujszasz.hu\\wwwroot/include/inc_lib/dbcon.inc.php' (include_path='.;c:\Php\PEAR;c:\php\includes;c:\tmp') in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ujszasz.hu\wwwroot\phpwcms\index.php on line 57
Why?

The install steps:

I think I made something wrong: I gave incorrect server path, or other?

Always use just single "/" - do not use backslashes.

No, this didn't solve the problem: anything I wrote in path-box ('/', '\', '//', '\\'), I got the same error message always:

Code: Select all

Warning: main(C:\\Inetpub\\wwwroot\\ujszasz.hu\\wwwroot/include/inc_lib/dbcon.inc.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ujszasz.hu\wwwroot\phpwcms\index.php on line 57

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\\Inetpub\\wwwroot\\ujszasz.hu\\wwwroot/include/inc_lib/dbcon.inc.php' (include_path='.;c:\Php\PEAR;c:\php\includes;c:\tmp') in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ujszasz.hu\wwwroot\phpwcms\index.php on line 57
I haven't got webserver at home, I use a commercial webhost-service.

Check again how to install phpwcms. Seems the file setup.conf.inc.php is not writable. And also check if dbcon.inc.php really exists.

setup.conf.inc.php can be edited manually too.

BTW, you have installed phpWCMS to subfolder named 'phpwcms' but it does not appear to be entered into your "conf.inc.php" file correctly:

YES YES YES!

I have to edited manually conf.inc.php, filled

$phpwcms['db_***']
$phpwcms['root']

BUT I have another error message:

Code: Select all

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ujszasz.hu\wwwroot\phpwcms\index.php on line 112
I had changed all files' attribute what I read here.

as always - first you need to create a pagelayout and template.

Thanks!

Let's see the next problem:

I want to insert "flash_jpg_rotator" flash-object in header. Is this possible?
I tried it but it is not working. The header code is:

Code: Select all

<!-- ===================================================== -->
<div id=container-OBEN>
<div class="header-BILD">
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="742" height="150" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.ujszasz.hu/phpwcms/template/free_XL/header/jpgrotator.swf" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<embed width="742" height="150" src="http://www.ujszasz.hu/phpwcms/template/free_XL/header/jpgrotator.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" wmode="transparent" />
</object>

<!-- Ende container-OBEN -->
</div>
</div>
If you see, the flash is working:

http://www.ujszasz.hu/phpwcms/template/ ... tator.html

But if I insert it in php-template, it is not working.

Hi memberjoe,

try to setup in your template this: here described for "own - place all code in main field in template:
<div id="header">
<object
data="http://www.ujszasz.hu/phpwcms/template/ ... otator.swf"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
width="742" height="150"
style="-moz-user-focus:ignore;">
<param value="transparent" name="wmode" />
<param value="quality" name="high" />
<param name="movie" value="http://www.ujszasz.hu/phpwcms/template/ ... otator.swf" />
</object>
</div>
With this code you get the flash file valide for xhtml

try it and i hope it works for you too.
Gruß/ regards cyrano

But it's recommend to use phpwcms' built-in Flash integration. Good to use a hidden section and place a new article in it. Integrate a {SHOW_CONTENT:CP,ID} while ID is the ID of Multimedia content part. Then also the neccessary Eolas patent workaround for IE is used.
