{SUMMARY} in a content part

I would like to use the {SUMMARY} replacement tag (that works ok inside the .tmpl files) in a normal content part.

My intention is to display the summary in another section of the main template (i.e. RIGHT), but when I try to use the RT oustide the .tmpl frame the tag is not replaced with the summary itself .

What is the easiest way to get that RT working everywhere?
