Fresh install - Can't login.

Hello!
Just installed Phpwcms as it was described in Installation instruction, but can't login as administrator. Tried several times - no fate - seas "Errors during login"!
Any comments?

I have just had the exact same issue.
I'd need a little more info about your setup and problem but there are a few things I have leaned over the last two days
read the article called "Some install problems I think" posted by Klausre
in particular the session stuff - and make a sessiontest.php as advised.
(put a link to this new file on your login.php and test it)
when testing this myself to solve my problems I noticed my PHP.ini file was at fault and cured the problem when i changed the following to...
; The path for which the cookie is valid.
session.cookie_path =
; The domain for which the cookie is valid.
session.cookie_domain =

MySql and PHP functioning normally, anyway can't login!
What may be wrong?

did you try the session test code that Oliver wrote ?
is working ?
are you useing netscape 7.1?
i have trouble with NS7.1 not login on - no cure as yet
IE6.x is fine though - have you tried?

Today I will install a fresh FreeBSD on my server. Then I'll try to test PhpWCMS again. There were some a mess on old system...

Hi everybody!
It works! PHPWCMS on FreeBSD with PHP4, MySQL 4, Apache 1.3.
Don't really know what was wrong?!? Installed Apache 1.3 instead Apache 2 and now PHPWCMS runs smoothly...
"No bugs, no bytes..." (Who said that?

)
