changing content part order only for admins?

Hi there,

now I realized another problem but I'm not sure, if it's a bug or a feature. ;)

The admin user is able to change the order of content parts in an article. But the ordinary editor isn't able to change the order.

How can I enable this (important) function to the editor?

Additionally the editor cannot change the order of the articles itself also. In the site structure all levels have "ordering of assigned articles" set to "manually" and I also tried the option "$template_default["article_order"] = 1;" in the conf.template_default.inc.php file, but both didn't worked.

(By the way: what is this option in the conf.template_default.inc file for?)

Thanks for any help,
Dennis

Does no one know how to solve the problem? :(

I cannot give this state to a customer. In my opinion the admin accounts have to be for special purposes (like changing the sitestructure) only!

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Now I found the reason for my problem. I created an article with the admin user by fault and now the editor cannot change the order of the content parts.

BUT: this will not work, even if I change the article owner to the editor. But with my understanding this has to work then, hasn't it?

Oliver? Anyone?

Regards,
Dennis

P.S. I try to avoid to create all these articles with the right user (editor) once again. :(
