problem with sitestructure after update 1.2.6 -> 1.2.8

hi guys,

I found a problem I cannot solve by myself. I updated my phpwcms version from 1.2.6 to 1.2.8 (incl. all patches until patchC). All worked fine so far but one big error.

I have a site structure like

home
- de
-- ...
- en
-- ...
etc.

After this update the home structure refers to another template than before and I cannot change this value. After saving the old value remains.

Then I tried to change the value 'harcore' in the database but did not found it in the database (should be in the table 'phpwcms_articlecat', shouldn't it?).

Could this be a problem because of the update the table got within the version upgrade? (There were added two new cols 'acat_maxlist' and 'acat_cntpart'.)

Finally I need help! :(

Greetings,
Dennis

Hi

in Template select another CSS and then back to frontend.css and than save the Template.

In new Version you can select more than one CSS-Files for the Template. After update this new Arry is not set correct - so it will not save the Template correct.

Hi pico,

you know I had the same problem two days ago...

There must be an update that overtakes the old value as the default value...

hi pico,

thanks for that hint but it didn't worked. I made the template-change-rechange-and-safe thing to all templates but the home sitestructure still relates to another template and will not save any changes on the template it has to use. :(

why has this structure (it's the root element!) changed it related template after the upgrade? why won't it save changes? and why doesn't it show it's element id on the admin overview page when I place my mouse over the icon next to the element title like it will do on any other element in this overview?

questions over questions and no suggestions?

thanks so far,
dennis

Hi Balubaer,

Have you made any hacks ore mods implemented?
and why doesn't it show it's element id on the admin overview page when I place my mouse over the icon next to the element title like it will do on any other element in this overview?
Home don“t do so. ID = 0 Normaly alias= index.

Home structure is a standalone file - so seems you have overwritten this by upgrading. So always check that config/phpwcms/conf.indexpage.inc.php is merged with your own.

Have a look into your /config/phpwcms/conf.indexpage.inc.php
Please compare your old (backup) and new one.

Permission: /config/phpwcms/conf.indexpage.inc.php 666 :!: :!: :!:

Why - for gods sake - does the original conf.indexpage.inc.php have this value: $indexpage['acat_template'] = 2; :?: :?: :?: :?:

I finally figuered out why after the update and installation my index page
was shown with my second template... :? My modified conf.indexpage.inc.php has the value 1 for the acat_template...
