First of all, phpwcms looks very promising.

A newsletter function would make it my choice, but as far as I know the newsletter has yet to be implemented.

Searching the forums for any progress I found several postings in january discussing when to expect the newsletter to be implemented, but since then it has been quiet.

Are there any plans to release such a function in the not so very distant future?

Why not implement Dada Mail (http://mojo.skazat.com/) or phplist (http://tincan.co.uk/phplist)? I've implemented Dada Mail using htmlarea at http://www.emergentmail.com.[/url]

How did you apply the HTML area editor to dada mail?

i'm also using dadamail. it's the most powerfull free newsletterscript for me.

so i would be very interested how to implement it!!
