I have installed everything, but as I want to do a semi automatic setup I don't see any such post. The link doesn't work that is given. What do I need to do to get the setup complete? How do I have to use that link to get the semi setup process started?

I belive this question should be posted under installation for
better impact.

The setup script should be accessible from
yourserver.com/mabyextrapath/setup/setup.php

Post it again under installation and try to be more specific.

Open your browser window and type URL for ~YOUR~ installation paths into the browser address window.

example from Oliver:

http://www.mydomain.com/path_2_phpwcms/setup/index.php

replace this part:

http://www.mydomain.com/

with your domain name replace this part:

path_2_phpwcms

with the base folder name ==>where "phpwcms.php" is uploaded so it would be: This will run the "so-called" semi-automatic setup process. It is just the SETUP of phpWCMS. Make sure you understand that at end of Step 5 there is a link to the "completed" configuration file with your "answers" that you must save and then FTP to update the default config file with your infos about paths, database and other options.

"Download the finished configuration file and put this into "include/inc_conf". If neccessary rename the config file to "conf.inc.php".
