Phpwcms vs. Jetbox One

Hi all developers and users of this great cms.
I have been working for a while with Phpwcms and Jetbox as a designer and found some good unique functions in both of them. I've been wondering why the Jetbox doesn't adapt some of the Phpwcms templates functionalities and why Phpwcms developers don't make a "MOD_Coding_Generator" like Jetbox' "Container_generator" to make it easier to develop new functionalities.
I have read and understood the filosophies of Phpwcms and Jetbox but I can't find any arguments against the integration of those features. No matter which cms you thoose to change, it will open up some posibilities in the future with less security problems because you don't have to hack the core.
Maybe I'm wrong but could some of the hardcore programmers or developers take up this subject?
