Phpwcms vs. Jetbox One

Hi all developers and users of this great cms.

I have been working for a while with Phpwcms and Jetbox as a designer and found some good unique functions in both of them. I've been wondering why the Jetbox doesn't adapt some of the Phpwcms templates functionalities and why Phpwcms developers don't make a "MOD_Coding_Generator" like Jetbox' "Container_generator" to make it easier to develop new functionalities.

I have read and understood the filosophies of Phpwcms and Jetbox but I can't find any arguments against the integration of those features. No matter which cms you thoose to change, it will open up some posibilities in the future with less security problems because you don't have to hack the core.

Maybe I'm wrong but could some of the hardcore programmers or developers take up this subject?

To request a "Container_generator" like Jetbox' in the Phpwcms core.

Container = MOD
Container_Generator = MOD_Coding_Generator

"General ideas behind Jetbox and the containers structure
Creating new containers with the container generator.
Link two containers.
Adding the new section to the website"

Perhaps this video can describe it more exact.
Link to the site : http://jetbox.streamedge.com/tutorial.php
and find "Creating new containers and new sections on the website"
Direct link to the video at sourceforge : https://sourceforge.net/project/showfil ... _id=155267

This could be a big step forward for the developers to focus more on the core, perhaps open op some possibilitys for (non)/programmer, without hacking the core.

I know that this is a big request and therefore need some response.

This is planned - I do not call it "container" - in phpwcms it is a content part. And far as I remember such an enhancement is available for phpwcms as MOD yet.

This is called content part generator.

Oliver

content part generator?
