Hi there,
I just got one simple (hopefully) question:
How can I access my phpwcms_filstorage folder with the image browser shown here?:
Where are the path settings for this browser?
Thanks in advance
Dani

Hi Moan,
the original Version of FCK can´t enter this folder.
Please install this version from pico. That will solve your problem.

Hi Knut,
that´s what I already did. And it doesnt´t list any picture and when I upload a pic, nothing happens except that the page refreshes, but nothing shows up
And when I want to create a new folder it says that I don´t have the permission to create a folder. Which folder does it try to access? Which rights do I have to change?
Have you got a solution to that?
Thx
Dani

Hi,
I think the better solution are using picos FCK. @Oliver Georgi: Did you know this edition?
---------------------------
Have a look at the FCK-Image Manager:
You can list all files of the phpwcms_filstorage folder.
The image for the FCK-image browser normaly stored at /picture/upload/Image/.
Have you set the right for the folder to 777? It is written at his short docu.
The Image Manager only reads the images at /phpwcms_filstorage/.
You carry the pictures via file center into the virtual folders.
The CP "Text mit Bild" or "Bilder" are using this pictures. - And the FCK-Image Manager.
But please atention: Don´t make an upload of pictures to the folder /phpwcms_filstorage/ via FCK!!!!! Normaly you do it using the file center.

Unfortunately we know that, but it is the only away to get a picture for using at CP and Wysiwyg editor.
Ok an other way is to tap the filename via file center -> properties -> copy and paste it into the editor.
Thats very circumstantially and not homogeneous.

This set of changes to the BASIC version 2.0 allows for using the separate "/picture/upload/" folder. Not as fancy, but functional, I think!

Hi Moan,
thats no trick, it´s a normal installation at a normal webspace.
- Have you installed the latest version 2.2x (date 17.04) of picos FCK?
- The thumbs are generated well at file center?
- Your are using GD2?
@DeXXus: All these point are implemented in picos version.
-> download -> install -> insert tree lines into conf.inc.php -> run -> be happy
@Oliver: "I know - a "real" phpwcms image connector for editor is neccessary" Yes it is. For some applications it can be used very well.
For my turn, I only use it in an emergency. I think it is very important to have a homogeneous picture/file management.
Tree post above you have sayed "Spaw can access content/images too".
Please, please don´t do it. The content/images are the trash can of the system. After a while there are many many deathly pictures.
Then we need a kill option at file center or we solve this very circumstantially in this manner http://faq.phpwcms-docu.de/8_19_de.html.
