Hi, i am trying to list say 3 articles as the first one comes up. i.e. stop the next couple of articles turning into small links with only the headline as the link title...
Is this simple to do?

This may not be what you are thinking but I wrote a small tutorial/explanation of one way to use the articles. It sounds like you should use content types instead of adding new articles. You can check it out at

It just gives a little explanation of how I think of content types and articles in relation to the website. Hopefully it might help :)

Try this:

open include/inc_conf/conf.template_default.inc.php, find $template_default["top_count"] and set it to 3 (or whatever you need to).
