Hi guys,

Don't flame me for this post, I'm just wondering and here goes my question...
I've been talking to a lot of you recently (Trip, Pico, jscholtysik...) and I (we) have an idea: organize a phpwcms meeting were we could/would discuss features, enhancements, templates, 1.3, whatever...

So, a possibility would be 25th of may (or w-e 27,28?), which is a holiday in Germany.
The place could be Munich (some said Berlin). The day is yet to be organized (what are we going to talk about), so maybe 25th of May is a bit too close for you all to be available that day. Anyway, how many of you would be interested in a meeting, so we finally could get to know all IRL (in real life) and discuss about this magnifico CMS ?

Anyway, this is purely a proposal, not a fact (yet) so any other dates or places can be proposed, ... providing you participate actively

for me Frankfurt/Main should be a nice Place

Ok, ok, ok...

we all know that OUR places is easier for each one of us.
I could say Brussels (arguing it is the capital of Europe, hence the center... LOL --> But if it is in Brussels I arrange accomodations (ah aaah!)

So, at least 6 people would meet, is that enough? Yeah sure, it is good, but we couldn't say it's a phpwcms MEETING, it's more like, ok, we all meet, Fulvio sings and dj's, Pico does the technics, Pepe handles the ladies (like in '68 ... , Trip does the talk, Joachim translates all and Kosse plays stupid (means ... stays natural)...

What about:
A place (realistic) -> Idea Munich
A date (realistic) -> When most pple can come (is 25th or 26th, 27,28 ok? or later in the year?)
A schedule for the day (what do we talk about and how?)

Else, no problem for me meeting you all I'm sure we can have great time and nice talks about everything AND phpwcms + beers + fun ... so...?

PS: I leave for Madrid , like 4 days... so will be out of Internettown till tuesday (will I be able not to connect at least ONE day? mmm, time will tell So when I get back... I hope seing 100 persons gathering! Yeah, right! Adios amigos, me voy para España (hoping they'll have a little bit of sun there)

nice idea, i'll be on board. i would prefer cologne or düsseldorf, its in the middle of germany - should be a good decision for all or not?

OK - for me Munich is no Problem, but I think the most People will come from Germany - or I'm wrong? So Frankfurt/M. is also a real Centered Point in Germany and for StudioZ there is also a BIG Airport OK Munich has one too.

year stockholm would be great - we'll all swim over and make the biggest beer party ever in sweden. stim will pay for us all .
another idea - maybe we could have a meeting in amsterdam and stim will pay the joints for all who fly without an airplane from germany...

otherwise Frankfurt is probably better than Munich

How about Hannover?

Switzerland would be nice and certainly makes sense as a "center of Europe" kinda location but I figure it's a little inconvenient for most to travel to (with the whole not-quite-being-in-Europe thing.

How about having "regional" meets, like one in every country instead?
