Future of phpwcms
A consolidated v1.3 will be the next step
Yes, yes and sorry. Project development was very slow over the last year. This was based on my job in Berlin. But this delay is over now - so further development will speed up and new release is on the way.
It is a long time ago that I was able to invest as many time as neccessary for the constant development of phpwcms. But this delay is over. Within the next weeks not months a consolidated release of phpwcms will be published. This release will include all fixes and some enhancements you are waiting for since a longer time.
Thanks for you support over the last year.

A time frame would be perfect
I think many people would like an answer on this

There is as much timeframes as it possible to give. We all know that things takes longer time then planned.
And what is weeks compared to a whole year or more where phpwcms have stand more or less still...
Within the next weeks not months a consolidated release of phpwcms will be published.

Great news! I'm looking forward for the next release... with a spam protection for the guestbook, hopefully...
There are many more ideas and good hacks and mods in this forum to
improve phpwcms - and a lot of genious php-prgrammers as well...

Code: Select all
1 week x 52 = 1 Year
2 weeks x 26 = 1 Year
weeks x 10 = Years

If i try to analyse Oliver Gs words, i use the following formular:
Within the next weeks not months a consolidated release of phpwcms will be published.
If
X is the biggest value that's smaller than (2)
months ...
x = A + B - 1 = >
x = 31 ( 1. month ) + 30 ( 2. month ) - 1 = 60 days
Not that long, friends... not that long

Hi folks,
I have switched project server today. The system should be faster now because of using MySQL 4.x and PHP 4.4 and Apache 2.2
DNS entries should be updated within next hours.
Use
http://www.phpwcms.net to be sure to be connected to the right system.
A test installation is in preparation there too.
Happy testing
Oliver
Movement, there is some movement going on!
