gibt es eine möglichkeit artikel über ein dropdown-feld anzuwählen.
(wie z.b. im forum die auswahl eingeschräkt werden kann, siehe bild)


is there a way to choose an article with a dropdwon-field?

A replacement tag taht create a chapter menu as a dropdown? I havent seen it - but could be usefull... never thought off that

Interesting idea! But scrolling through a long list may not be practical, without coding a scheme for ability to move through list by typing the first letter(s).

in this special case i need this for a companys page:

there are a lot of articles explaining the machines which they build.
every of this machines is working for a special german "DIN".

so if a customer knows only the DIN he need a machine for he could use
this dropdown to have a fast way to find the corresponding machines.

do you remember how fast you find supportfiles maybe at HP, Acer, Compaq
or so on with this way to limit all the possibilities step by step with
dropdown-menus?

i am not a programmer, so i can not do a hack or mod. but i would be
happy if such a functionality is coming...
