{LISTFILES} tag??

Hi - Sorry if this is a silly question. I tried searching the forums and could not find anything relevant. Also - a bit daunted as I am a graphic designer and only a meager code hack....
Anyhow, I am trying to use phpwcms to put together a page which lists nicely and cleanly all of the files (none are images -- most will be doc or pdf) that are uploaded through the backend filemanager and marked as public. It would be great if the directory structure was maintained as well.
Is there a hack or mod for this?
Again, my humblest newbie appologies if this is covered somewhere.
