Hi Kiwix,

As mentioned throughout this thread, I am not the true creator of the concept.....credit goes to Marcus. And to be honest, I did my modifications as a learning experience. There are bugs, but in the name of progress I tried to create good documentation. But I think there are others who have a far wider experience in php that might see better ways to implement stuff. Anyway big thanks to you and your efforts...looking forward to your results....

All best,
John

Postscript:
Rasmus Lerdorf, the original developer of PHP, has been at a Linux Conference here in Dunedin (My home town). His take on web development is that JSON has a bright future (likely supported in future browser releases). He is doing a two day lecture on Rich Web Apps that can be accessed here:

http://talks.lerdorf.com/show/nz1/0

Although the guy is brilliant, he is very down to earth....been working over at Yahoo as senior developer. Plenty of interesting web services stuff...the lecture notes document these projects.... :)

Hello all.

I'm trying to add this nice mod to a site that I'm making but the "checkout" button on the full cart display is not working.
could someone give me a help with this?

I read the manual dozens of times, but somehow I'm missing something.

The cart can be accessed on this address:
http://editora.up.pt/site/index.php?catalogo_de_edicoes

Thank you!

Hi Fardilha,

As mentioned in this thread this mod is not fully functional....

If you get it to work using either SSL or Paypal - please let us know - to be honest the code is a bit of a b...lur to me - have not worked on it for sometime.

all best

Hi.

I was using it to make a catalog only page, not a true shopping cart.
So I cannot really help on this, and besides I stopped using it and started using exData.
The programmer of exData is also trying to include this shopping cart on his code, so I'll have the best of both worlds (eventually) :D

Best regards.
