hi,

installed fresh 1.2.8 version, all is running except FCKeditor.

get an error URL does not exists and the path to the file "fckeditor.html"

set in profil WHYIWYG-Editor to FCK, all other things works fine except the loading and showing of FCKeditor.

any ideas why?

was installed yesterday - so is there a newer one?

which file might be new uploaded?

the files are all there and right are setted also well.

i will dl the fixed one and upload the fckeditor files again.

Aber in deinem PROFIL hast du den FCKeditor sicher aktiviert, oder?

yes, habe ich.

stellte ich bei spaw ein, gab den gleichen fehler mit spam, das er die datei bzw den pfad nicht findet, aber alles war an ort und stelle.

ggf. liegt es auch an den servereinstellungen?
ich hacke da auch noch nach. bei einer anderen installation (das allerrste 1.2.89 klappt es.

lade eben die letzte version nochmal hoch.

ADDED: unter dem artikel einstellen kommt unter schlagtext diese fehleranzeige:
Not Found
The requested URL /include/inc_ext/FCKeditor2/editor/fckeditor.html was not found on this server.

Also, ich halte mich wirklich nicht für blöde, aber wer das "erfunden" hat, der wollte garkeine keine Antworten haben...

Damit wird dein Wunsch nach "Hilfe" von Seiten der User wohl auf ein Minimum beschränkt bleiben!

Das der User im Mittelpunkt stehen sollte... hat der Schreiber dieser "Oberfläche" wohl nicht gewußt,
Schade, damit werden viele guten Ideen nicht in phpWCMS einfließen...
Auf jeden Fall wirst du sehr wenig Eintragungen haben.
Oder ist's gar pure Absicht???

Ich weiß nicht, was Du meinst. Kommst Du mit dem Bugtracking nicht klar?

ok, uploaded version from today, guess it's something other, but FCK editor is still not loaded...

I'm afraid to install this one.

when you download the link which is in Announcement you see the file is updated with date from today.
means 20060807....

first one was from "20060803"

now the path settings are ignored, so the subfolder is called in the url that is calling the fckeditor

where is the fck editor called? mean in which file for backend using?

Dito hier bei mir. Einzige "unlogische Komponente" beim Update: Die Datenbanken lassen sich in der Version 1.2.8 nur auf die Version 1.2.7 updaten... Das macht keinen Sinn Ich musste mich ja immerhing von 1.2.3-dev durchgeklicken... Zudem hat's im Introtext noch drei Links für ein Filestorage-Update, plus noch zwei weitere Links, die irgendwelche Text-Outputs erzeugen, die man in phpmyadmin direkt ausführen soll - was bewirkt das, wozu soll das gut sein? Das verwirrt...

Captchas funktionieren offensichtlich - sind aber z.T sehr schwer zu entziffern. Denke das kann bei Benutzern zu Verwirrung führen... Schon klar, dass die Grafiken so gestaltet werden sollten, dass sie "maschinell" nicht lesbar sein sollten, ABER.......... Captchas sind und bleiben wohl ein umstrittenes Anti-Spam-Mittel...

I will repeat myself here:

This is no real "public" release 1.2.8 - there are some things I'm not happy with at the moment. But it should be usable. Development still going on. Some larger changes are in work.

I have tested the release on several systems - windows and *nix.

As I have written a bit hidden - read my changelog - install and upgrade will be totally rewritten for next public release. But there is no db update neccessary for this release. And for older releases - everything is in the upgrade script. You can also do it manually. Always backup!

Disable rewrite if there might be problems with paths. You should be very familiar with rewriting when you want to use it!

i always recommend the use of THIS release. It's the most secure!

For me it is! Upload all files, empty browser cache, enable JavaScript!

me again,
seems to be a problem when using a userspace on which is connected by servername/~username.

so now it might be usefull to know, how to get wcms running using the values from setup and not from the $server datas...

so is there a problem known when working with userspaces, virtual directories and not with directories?

No - such sites works very well too. Try to place a file in your document root containing:

File: tellmypath.php Try to use the given information.
